PARENT VISA
This type of permanent visa lets the parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to stay in Australia. The main requirement of this visa is to satisfy the balance of family test. The processing time of this visa is up to 3 to 4.5 years.

Contributory parent visas
The 143 Visa is processed much quicker than the alternative parent visa (subclass 103) due to it’s higher fee, and is a great option to get your parent(s)permanently to Australia to be with you quicker should you have access to such funds.

Non Contributory Parent visas
Known more commonly as the ‘Standard’ or ‘Slower’ of the Parent Visas, the 103 visa allows your parent(s) to permanently migrate to Australia, however the long processing times may result in this visa option becoming impractical.

The 804 Aged Parent visa allows your parent(s) who is old enough to receive the Australian Aged Pension (currently 65 year 6 months) to migrate to Australia, however the long processing times may result in this visa option becoming impractical.
